A QUINTET of Salisbury schools were involved in the recent mini festival of orienteering, held in the grounds of South Wilts Grammar School.
A total of 60 children, aged six and seven, took part in a range of activities related to the sport of orienteering.

SARUM Orienteering Club has confirmed a trio of forthcoming events.
The highly successful Salisbury club competes at Bulford Ridges on Saturday, September 18, then Vernditch, near Salisbury on Saturday, October 9, before returning to Bulford Ridges on Saturday, November 13.

SARUM Orienteering had a successful time at the recent British Sprint Orienteering Championships.
Held at HMS Sultan Gosport. sprint races are shorter than usual orienteering courses, with the controls closely sequenced to make it a speed test in terms of brain as well as legs.
