INTERNATIONAL athlete Craig Pickering put City of Salisbury’s thriving young sprint group through their paces during a special coaching session designed to pass on his knowledge and experience to some of the region’s best short distance prospects. A group of 20 athletes and coaches, led by Lee Ness were briefed on technical drills and start practices by the Olympic sprinter that will help take the already successful young prospects to the next level in their sprint specialism.

BEMERTON Heath Harlequins have been drawn away to Wroughton in the opening round of this season's Wiltshire Senior Cup. In the same competition, Amesbury Town will host Chippenham Youth, while Downton entertain Westbury United. Laverstock & Ford have also bee handed a home tie - Pewsey Vale will visit Church Road. All of the ties are scheduled to be played on Saturday, October 11.
