SALISBURY City will host Cambridge City in Thursday evening's Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division Play-off semi-final. Cambridge were 2-0 victors at home to Bedford Town on Monday afternoon. They needed to better Salisbury's goal difference, by winning by a six-goal margin to clinch third place and home advantage. Hednesford Town, 6-0 winners at relegated Halesowen Town, will host Leamington in the other semi-final. Leamington completed their fixtures with a 3-2 win at home to Stourbridge. Salisbury do not have a great record this term against all the other sides in the play-offs. They drew 3-3 at Cambridge earlier in the season, then lost 3-1 at home in March. Hednesford were the first side to defeat City during the 2010/11 campaign, winning 3-0. Whites won 2-1 when the sides met at the Ray Mac in January. Leamington held the Whites to a goalless draw at Old Sarum in October, then won 2-0 at home in March.
