WINTERSLOW lead the way in County Division Four (North) of the Hampshire League following Saturday’s convincing win against Sutton Scotney. 

The victory was their ninth of the season and takes their points total to 219 – ten more than closest challengers Denplan Mansbridge, who suffered an unexpected defeat at Alton III at the weekend. 

Winterslow made light work of their game with Sutton. Having bowled the hosts out for just 65, they then reached their target for the loss of just one wicket. 

Winterslow host Overton on Saturday.
