SOUTH Wilts had to settle for a winning draw away at Havant today after they failed to remove the champions.

The Salisbury side won the toss, batted first and having scored 287-6 declared.

Tom Morton made his third century of the season before eventually going for 134.

In reply, Havant closed on 259-9 - Simon Branston and James Hibberd claiming four and three wickets respectively.
