SOUTH Wilts have declared on 287-6 in their ECB Southern Electric Premier League match away at Havant.

Having won the toss and batted first, the Salisbury side had scored 158-2 at lunch off 42 overs,

In-form batsman Tom Morton, who heads the runscorers' chart in the division was not out on 100 - his third ton of the season.

He was eventually out for 134.

Eddie Abel scored 84 to help post a formidable-looking total.

The Salisbury side need to beat the champions to maintain their title challenge.

South Wilts currently trail leaders Bournemouth by 24 points.
