SALISBURY Tennis Club's men recorded their first win of the season in the Regional AEGON Team Tennis Division.

Following two successive shoot-out losses playing on the damp grass at Avenue, Chris Chapman and Tim Gadenne won their singles and then partnered Rory Smith and Roger Witt to win both doubles rubbers. 

Meanwhile, in the Hampshire League, Victoria Park’s men, playing in Division Three for the first time, beat David Lloyd, Ringwood.

Their ladies, making their first appearance in the league, won their Division Five game away at Knightswood 7-2.
