THIS year's Wilton Horse Trials is to take place over the weekend of Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1.

For the third year running, Whitehead Vizard are the main sponsors of the event, which was originally held in 1976 set in the picturesque parkland grounds of the Earl of Pembrokeshire's Wilton House Estate.

The event is also the fourth stage of this year's Stately Homes Challenge.
