LOUISA Lockwood's promising start to the new season continued with a first place finish at Somerley Park International Horse Trials earlier this week.

The Winterbourne Stoke rider and Ballyfarris Flight won the Intermediate (section B) with a total of 33.60 points, finishing just ahead of Christelle Durrant and Primitive Revenge.

Rodney Powell aboard Happy Go Lucky, was third.
